This project comprises a newly realised distribution centre by Over-Engh/Hercuton for HM Group BV who will lease 60% of the property which is located on the last available plot at business park Maasvlakte West in the port of Rotterdam.
Initially intended as a build-to-suit for HM Group BV, it was decided to extend this state-of-the-art logistics building in order to be able to offer additional available space for rent at of the premiere logistics hot spots, Rotterdam Maasvlakte.
The property, which was delivered to the tenant HM Group BV and purchaser Aberdeen Balanced Holland 5 S.à r.l. in July 2022, has been built in accordance with the latest specifications for modern and sustainable logistics warehouse space, comprises a gross floor area of approximately 34,657 m², divided over 2 warehouse units, each with their own office and mezzanine space.
Project HM Maasvlakte is located on Distribution Park Maasvlakte West, and has excellent accessibility via direct connections to motorway A15, the main west-east logistics transport corridors of the Netherlands. This park is very strategically located in the Port of Rotterdam, in direct vicinity of the main deep-sea container terminals, inland barge terminals and the main rail terminal of the Betuwe route (Maasvlakte -Ruhr area).
