Carlyle recently purchased a distribution center in Moerdijk. The property is fully leased to logistics company DSV.
The property will be transferred to the Carlyle Europe Realty (CER)- platform. Located at the Logistics Boulevard 1 in Moerdijk (Klundert), the property has a total floor area of approximately 6,500 m², divided over warehouse and office space.
With this purchase, Carlyle further expands their presence in Europe as they already have a platform for self-storage facilities of 55,863 m² as well as a portfolio of 11 hotels in the Netherlands.
Carlyle works jointly with Calibre Asset Management with regards to the (financial) asset management of these portfolios and they are targeting further future logistic acquisitions. This transaction is their first project.
